Denis St-Jules

I embarked on a wonderful journey into arts marketing with AOE Arts Council as Director of communications about five years ago. Since then, I continue to meet creative souls from all kinds of backgrounds with different ambitions. Their stories and activities are what motivate me to share this with others previously through ARTnews magazine as publisher and now with Accolade.

My love for the arts, as a dancer, calligrapher, paper/book artist and mixed-media artist permeates my being. I believe art is in everyone and should be expressed. It is not learned but created, felt and interpreted. So much can be appreciated in the day-to-day with art in our lives; it is, take a closer look, stop and see what we have created for you.

Annie Taylor

Annie has been involved with AOE Arts Council as a Programs Assistant since summer 2012, where she has developed a passion for connecting and contributing to the arts community from an arts organization’s perspective. Her involvement with the AOE Gallery has given her the opportunity to connect with artists directly, and glean their interesting inspirations, influences, and intentions that she shares as a contributor to Accolade.

Currently studying Fine Arts at the University of Ottawa, Annie is a practicing photo-based artist with an interest in analog processes. As an artist, she approaches each project knowledgably, with creativity, and an openness to the variety of what the Ottawa arts scene has to offer.
