Nominated as Best Male Performer at 2015 Trille Or Awards Gala by Radio-Canada & APCM, Abel Maxwell is a Pop artist increasingly recognized on the North American platform. With mastery, he managed to crystallize musical moments including jazz, R&B and classic and all in a Pop style.
Abel Maxwell grew up in Europe, studied music in national conservatories of 3 continents (Africa – Europe – North America), and calls cities like Dakar, Lomé, Lyon, Amsterdam, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Minneapolis or Los Angeles home. Abel Maxwell, who holds a degree in Business Administration from CEFAM Business School (France), has a great deal of influence on the music scene as a board member of the Canadian National Alliance of Music Industry – A.N.I.M and serves as a director of the branding company and notorious record label B.O.D.B Entertainment. He has been inducted in the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors Awards in Hollywood in 2014 for his book “Transform”, has released albums on iTunes and more recently his new single “One Day/Jusqu’à Toi” which is already making a great impression on the media as well as his fans (more than 16K on Facebook).
Designated as the 1st French Pop/R&B artist Ontario by the media, a virtuoso on the piano, with a charismatic showmanship, Abel Maxwell is not only an accomplished musician but also an artist inspiring the passion for excellence.

Participants: Working with New Canadians and Youth
Project description: Teach local francophone youth from the site and surrounding community singing and performance skills to develop their self-esteem and community leadership, over the course of a 12 week program that will include performances in local community settings.
